Terms of Service

Last updated: May 31, 2026

Important health notice. Aion is a wellness and personal health-information tool. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for a qualified healthcare provider. For medical decisions, consult a professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Bionic Light Industries, Inc. (“Aion,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of the Aion mobile app and website (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use Aion

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your region) to use Aion. If you use Aion on behalf of an organization, you represent that you’re authorized to accept these Terms for it.

2. What Aion is — and is not

3. Your account

4. Your data and privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how it’s handled. In short: your health data stays on your device unless you explicitly export it or enable an optional cloud feature, and cloud AI features ask for your explicit permission before sending data to a named provider.

5. Subscriptions and payments

If Aion offers paid features, they are sold as in-app purchases through the Apple App Store, and Apple’s terms and billing apply. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings. Paid features are never conditioned on your granting access to your health data. Prices and inclusions may change with notice.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

7. Source-available and open-source components

Aion Core is released as source-available software under the PolyForm Noncommercial License — you may read, build, and run it for non-commercial use; commercial use requires a separate license. Certain other components are released under their own open-source licenses. Where a source-available or open-source license applies to a component, that license governs your use of that component and, to the extent of any conflict, takes precedence over these Terms for that component.

8. Third-party services

Aion can connect to third-party services you choose (e.g. Apple Health, device makers, and AI providers). Your use of those services is governed by their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be accurate, reliable, uninterrupted, or error-free, or that any content or insight is complete or correct.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aion and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the Service for health or medical decisions. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Changes and termination

We may modify the Service or these Terms; we’ll post the updated date above and, for material changes, notify you in-app where appropriate. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. You may stop using Aion and delete your account at any time.
